ΑΙ4Gov participated in a workshop organized by the ITHACA project on how ΑΙ can enhance citizens’ participation in the local governance, aiming to maximize positive impact of AI on democratic institutions and processes.
This first introductory workshop of ITHACA was addressed to vulnerable citizens of Brasov with the goal to identify their needs and requirements, together with their potential motivations, opportunities, facilitators and barriers in order to engage them more in civic participation. Brașov Metropolitan Agency for Sustainable Development, an ITHACA project partner, presented to several members of the Brasov citizens’ jury the AI potential on how digital tools can increase inclusion, civic participation and improve day-to-day citizens-authority interaction.
During this talk, partner SIEMENS presented AI4Gov project, its applications, benefits, and challenges with the main goal to gather requirements of civil society for the design of a more inclusive policy recommendation platform.
