Self-Assessment Tools

for Creating Awareness & Change

A key concept in ensuring compliance of AI systems with ethical principles and legal regulations is “Trustworthy AI”. This concept encompasses a detailed and systematic framework that prioritizes ethical standards, transparency, and accountability in the development, deployment, and utilization of AI systems.

As public and charitable funding for AI research and development increases, it is imperative to integrate ethical considerations into funding processes and incentivize AI developers to prioritize responsible and transparent design practices. To this end, AI4Gov’s report D5.5 provides detailed guidelines for institutions finanncing AI-related projects, focusing on ethical aspects, checklists, parameters, and criteria for evaluating proposals.

Furthermore, AI4Gov has developed two practical self-assessment tools:

TOOLS

Stop and Think
